- Recent study entitled 'Halloysite nanotubes - An efficient 'nano-support' for the immobilization of ą-amylase' shows experience in the field of enzyme immobilization on HNTs: Here functionalized HNT has been utilized for the immobilization purpose.
- Carried out a study to understand the conduct of HNT with the DNA intercalator Acridine Orange. The results presented (paper-'Study-behavior of HnT with DNA intercalator Acridine Orange') conclude that the degree of intercalation can be reduced in the presence of the HNT setting.
- The study of Gold nanoparticle (AuNP) and HNT based composite; used to study its interaction with DNA. This study confirmed the adsorption of DNA on HNT-AuNPs composites. (Paper Authored) 'Interaction - (DNA) with Halloysite Nanotube (Gold Nanoparticle composites)' presented the possibility of using HNT as support matrices for the attachment of AuNPs and its further use in biosensor development
